Christian Education

    Presbyterians have always valued knowledge and understanding of the scriptures as the basis for our Christian lives.  At Sugar Creek, during our program year, Sunday School classes are available for all our children and four different classes are offered to adults.

    We count on parents to help their children get to Sunday School ~ in today’s secularized world, there is no other place where children can study Bible stories, spiritual practices, or basic Presbyterian beliefs with their peers. The learning that occurs in Sunday School cannot be replaced with our Connections program during our second service.

KCC- Kids with Christian Character- is our summer worship program for children ages 3 through 3rd grade.  These children begin worship in the sanctuary with their parents and then are dismissed to go to a classroom.  In the classroom they will watch a Christian video and make a project, as well as having a snack.

    Members of Sugar Creek give of their talents and time as Sunday School teachers. These dedicated men and women have chosen this way of honoring the vows we all make when children are baptized ~ that we will teach and nurture them in the faith.
