Our Pastor
Our pastor is the Reverend Julia K. Wharff. Julia graduated from Luther College with a B.A. (Phi Beta Kappa) in music in 1985. She attended McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, earning her Master of Divinity in 1990. Following ordination, she served as the associate pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Junction City, Kansas for five years. For two years she served as the interim pastor of the West Side Presbyterian Church in Lawrence, Kansas before coming to Sugar Creek in May, 1997. She has just received her Doctor of Ministry degree from Princeton Theological Seminary.
